1. Who we are

This website is operated by Nordic Maison, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce 91847109, VAT NL004919264B19). Our company details are in our Legal notice. "We", "us" and "our" refer to Nordic Maison; "you" refers to the customer.

2. These terms

These terms, together with our Shipping & delivery, Returns & refunds and Payment policy, apply to every order. You accept them when you place an order. We may update these terms; the version published when you place your order applies to that order.

3. Our products

Our products are Scandinavian-inspired: the style comes from the north; we do not make them ourselves. Product photos show the product as accurately as possible, but small differences in colour, texture, dimensions or finish can occur and do not constitute a defect. Obvious errors in prices or descriptions are not binding.

4. Your order

The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email. We may refuse, hold or cancel an order, also after confirmation, in case of a pricing error, unavailability, suspected fraud, payment irregularities or failed verification, and may limit quantities per customer. If we cancel, any amount paid is refunded in full.

5. Prices and payment

Prices include VAT and import duties. Delivery costs are shown before you pay. Payment is made in full at checkout, as described in our Payment policy.

6. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates. Orders may arrive in several parcels. You are responsible for a correct and complete delivery address. Carrier tracking showing delivery to that address constitutes proof of delivery. Full details are in our Shipping & delivery policy.

7. Changing your mind

You have 14 days to withdraw from your purchase, as set out in our Returns & refunds policy.

8. Faulty items and your legal rights

Our products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If they are not, you have the statutory rights that apply to you as a consumer. Transport damage and incorrect items should be reported as described in our Returns & refunds policy.

9. Responsibility

Our liability for an order is limited to the purchase price of the products concerned, except in case of intent or gross negligence. We are not liable for indirect loss or for damage caused by improper use. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

10. Events beyond our control

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as carrier, customs or supplier disruptions. We keep you informed if this affects your order.

11. Using our website

You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes. All texts, photos and designs on this website belong to Nordic Maison or its licensors and may not be reused without our written permission.

12. Your personal data

How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy policy and Cookie policy.

13. Records

Our electronic records of orders, payments, tracking and correspondence serve as evidence of the transaction.

14. Applicable law

Dutch law applies. The mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live remains applicable, and you may bring a claim before the courts of that country. Times on this website are UK time unless stated otherwise.
