Cancelling an order

You can cancel your order free of charge as long as it has not shipped. Email info@nordic-maison.com with your order number and we refund the full amount. A shipped order cannot be stopped; the steps below then apply.

Your right to change your mind

You may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. If your order arrives in several parcels, the 14 days start when you receive the last one.

How to return an item

Let us know first. Email info@nordic-maison.com within 14 days of receiving your order, with your order number and the items you are returning. You may also use the model withdrawal form below.
Receive the return address. We reply with the return address and instructions.
Send the items back within 14 days of your notice, using a tracked service. Keep your proof of postage. You are responsible for the parcel until we receive it.
Refund. We confirm when your return has arrived and refund you as described below.

Items returned without notice, or to another address, are refunded only once received and identified.

Return costs

When you change your mind, the return costs are yours, at the actual carrier cost. If you withdraw from your entire order, we also refund the standard delivery costs you paid. On a partial return, delivery costs are not refunded.

Condition of returned items

Return items complete, with all parts, labels and original packaging, and pack them well for transport. You may handle an item as you would in a shop, to see what it is and how it works. Any loss in value from further handling, use, washing, assembly, damage or missing parts or packaging is deducted from the refund, up to the full price.

Refunds

We refund within 14 days of receiving the items back, or of receiving proof that you have sent them, whichever is earlier. Refunds go to your original payment method, in the original currency. Your bank may need up to 10 working days to show the refund. Bank charges and exchange-rate differences are not refunded. Free gifts must be returned; otherwise their value is deducted.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Report transport damage, a fault or an incorrect item to info@nordic-maison.com within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of the item, the packaging and the shipping label. Reports without photos cannot be assessed. Please do not return the item unless we ask you to; unrequested returns are not reimbursed. If we ask you to return a faulty or incorrect item, we cover the reasonable return costs. This does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty goods.

Missing items

If something is missing from your order, email us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo of everything you received. Remember that orders can arrive in several parcels.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. Would you like a different colour or size? Return the item as described above and place a new order.

Items we cannot take back

The right of withdrawal does not apply to hygiene items that have been unsealed after delivery, used personal-care items, or items made or personalised to your specifications. Items not purchased from nordic-maison.com, items other than those ordered, and empty or incomplete returns are not refunded and may be returned at your cost.
